The first meeting of our National Agency-supported project, Increasing the Qualifications of the Employees in the Food Industry Sector in Occupational Health, Safety, and Food Safety Project held on 15.01.2020. The project aims to prepare training materials on occupational health and safety and food safety and to share them on digital platforms. The training program, the training videos based on the e-platform will be the idea outputs of the project.
The meeting lasted two days;
Projects Coordinator Aybüke Bengü Özmutaf on behalf of the host organization Öz Gıda-İş Trade Union and project expert Sinan Özenç Dalgic on behalf of Nitra University from Slovakia, Eva Ivanisova and Miralava Kacaniova on behalf of Maribor University from Slovenia, Janja Luznik and Danijel Davidovic from Italy, IFOA from Italy on behalf of Chiara Deu Anico and Cecilia Bolognesi participated.
On the first day of the meeting, with the participation of all partners, a field visit made to the Ülker Ankara Biscuit factory on occupational health and food safety. Then, an appointment made to Ankara University Food Safety Institute, where Prof. Dr. Nevzat Artık gave the presentation to the project partners on Occupational Health Safety and Food Safety.
The second day of the opening meeting continued at Öz Gıda-İş Trade Union Headquarters. Within the scope of Increasing the Qualifications of Employees in the Food Industry Sector in Occupational Health, Safety and Food Safety Areas Project, all project partners made presentations regarding their fields of duty in the project.
At the Kick-off meeting, it decided that all partners would scan the Literature on Occupational Safety and Food Safety and send it to Maribor University for a joint report. And also 2nd Transnational Meeting will be hosted by Maribor University in Slovenia on 21-22 April.
